I think the suspense has built up enough. We made it home. Before I go any further, this blog is being written by a guest blogger. He is a tall, dark, ruggedly handsome young man. If that does not give it away, it is Brandon. I actually show up in a few pictures here and there. Well as you can tell, it is easier to do a blog while you are in a hotel room in China than it is once you get home, hence the delay in posting and the delegation of blogging duties. 

The last blog post left us in Guangzhou. From Guangzhou, we took a 2 hour van ride to Hong Kong. I think our driver was an old sea captain. I didn't know a vehicle riding on the ground could go up and down, back and forth, and side to side all at once. After we docked in Hong Kong, we headed straight to our hotel room which is attached to the airport. The room was small, but after 3 weeks in China, it didn't really matter. Our supper that night consisted of instant noodles we bought from a 7-Eleven the previous day. Again...after 3 weeks in China, it didn't really matter.

The next morning, we strolled to the airport for the final portion of our journey...well, the final portion of one journey and the beginning of another. Since there were 5 of us coming back, we could not get all of the seats together.

If I had a picture of me on the plane, it would be here...sitting beside someone with sinus issues...for 14 hours.

Well I don't have any pictures from the Huntsville airport arrival. We were too busy hugging necks and kissing the ground. Three days after we landed, we had Tilly's 14th birthday. So that means, three days after we landed, we were eating more Chinese food (Phoebe helped Tilly pick the place to have her birthday dinner).

One of the best parts of being home was being reunited with the smallest Yarbrough. Eden could finally get in on the action.

Before I go, I want to let you know that the biggest fear going into this adoption was the lack of funds to cover the expenses. We prayed fervently for God to fully fund this adoption. After consulting my very detailed spreadsheet of expenses and money from fundraising, it is official...He did. Every penny was covered.
