Gotcha Day Number 2

What a day!!!  Let me immediately start of by asking you to pause and pray for a sweet little boy who I will call "Baby J."  He is a heart baby and was adopted this week and our families have been woven together through the process.  He and his mommy and a sweet friend of his mommy's flew to Guangzhou today.  They fly home on the 24th.  Pray that God will bless them and give them grace and show favor to them as they travel.  Baby J has a very sick heart.  His condition is rare.  His mommy is nothing short of amazing.  Pray for his health and healing.

Today started off early like every other day we have been here.  We ate breakfast then waited in the room for the guide.  She came around 10:45 and brought someone to change our money.  OH..for those of you that prayed for us today about the miscommunication, it had to do with the amount of money to bring to the orphanage for the donation.  It all got worked out praise Jesus.  We checked out then headed to the airport.  We got all checked in and through security, had a little lunch, then off we went.  Our family of 5 was about to be a family of 6!  We arrived before Tilly and patiently waited for about 10 minutes.  We hear our guide say, "they are coming up"!.  I began to get nervous.  A few moments later, in walked a precious, beautiful little girl.  She was shy and afraid, but she made it through the process!

When we were fininished, we went to the hotel and then walked to dinner.  Cheap and yummy...can't beat it!  We quickly discovered that Tilly is a Daddy's girl.  She took my rice before I was finished and gave it all to him!

After dinner, we returned to our room and got ready for bed.  Tilly kept Phoebe up until I sent them to bed around 10pm.  Tilly is completely taken by Phoebe and not quite sure what to think about Lyric!

There were a few tears to be shed, but over all, it was a fantastic day!

  1. Sounds like you've got a wonderful family. I hope adjustments go well and that all girls enjoy each other.
