Christmas in China!

Ok....I have been failing at my job of blogging.  Totally did not realize that some of you are not on FB.  I have been so busy preparing to leave and FB is so simple to write a post that I simply forgot to blog!  So for those of you who do not know.......WE LEAVE IN THE MORNING!!!!!
We get both girls next week! Spend Christmas in Guangzhou and come home on the 31st.  I will be posting here on the blog during our trip.

Answered prayer and pray request:

1.  We sold the 4Runner and bought a van.  The 4Runner went to an amazing Godly couple in B'ham.  May He bless them.  It was quite a God thing! The van came from an amazing Godly couple here in town and may God bless them too.  Crazy good how our Father even had our vehicles play a role in His love for us!!

2. We are almost completely funded!!!! Unlesss the final cost that comes in today is way more than we expect, we are only about $3500 short!!!!  If you knew how much we needed in the beginning, your jaw would be dropping at this point!!  God is soooo good.

3.  Eden......what can I say about this little bugger!  God has so been in control of the timing of our trip.  She is doing fantastic and although she does not realize what is about to take place, she is excited to go see her NeNe and Walker!!!

Please pray for the following for our family:

1.  That God will prepare our new girl's hearts for us.  This process is terrifying for our children. Imagine leaving the only life you have known for 13-14 years and just up and going with total strangers.  Pray for bonding for us but also for the girls with each other and Phoebe.

2. Pray for Nealy and Lee as they care for Eden.  Pray that God will bless them for the part they are playing in helping us bring our girls home.  Not many people would be willing to do what they are doing for us.  May God bless them and bring them peace and some rest.  Pray that Eden will bond with them and that she won't go too far backwards.  Pray that God will give Nealy and Lee the ability to understand her words. (she does not speak that great).  Mostly pray that they will have a great time together!!!!

3.  Lastly, pray for a safe trip and for everything to go smoothly.  I am not worried, but we are being expedited due to provincial shutdowns from the 27th-the 5th.  I really want to come home on the 31st!!!!

Thank you all for joining our family in this journey.  God is using our girls to bring Him glory and to bring other children home.  I love how my girls have had a part however small it may be in melting hearts and families choosing to love through adoption.

God bless!
